Matthew Lawrence's activity - Night Clubs

Es un buen club con una mezcla musical de techno y house.  Si puedes vale pasar una noche disfruntando tu tiempo libre en Moog.  Está ubicado cerca al metro Drassanes y un tiro de la playa.

I was somehow under the impression this was a bar, and when I showed up it was a steakhouse.  Oh well, better luck next time.  The food looked juicy and hot but was a touch expensive.  Might be nice for a date or a family meal.

I must admit, I found the name and concept initially uncouth and insensitive.  But the actual club boasted a very progressive, grungy crowd.  And the music brought the Brasilian flavor and rawness into the mix.  A word of caution: I have heard of problems with the staff, though I didn't experience any.

Great location in the heart of the West End.  It's also great for those of us who can't sit still and need constant amusement, as the Tiger Tiger is broken into 5 rooms, consisting of Club, Lounge, Bar, Cocktail Bar, Restaurant.  The cocktail bar is especially sharp, with turquoise chairs and sofas and art deco flare.

Music was great, but there were a few other questions marks for me vis-a-vis the dated decor and pricey food.  But hey, if you're here for the music, and the reputation it should be a good time.  And even though the food is expensive, they do serve till 2am which is useful if you're drinking, and the food is good, it's just, as I said, a touch expensive.

They offer "butler service" in the library, which has a great view onto the square, and 8 suites if you've had too much to make it home.  The ground floor bar, however, is the gem for me.  The antique mirrors and velvet seats coupled with the impressive array of drinks makes for a decadent time if that's your mood.

Funky, Fresh, great ambiance, and lots of pub food and pizza.  If you're looking to dance this is a great place. Plus, they stay true to their name and really have a solid eye toward Good music, not just fun music.  Head over a bit early and grab a bite to eat then head off to other lights in Camden.

This is a haven of beauty, with a touch of hipness, with an apocalyptic entrance in the heart of the Camden market.  Also, this place stays open late, so drink your espresso first.  Lots of beautiful people and a more varied clientele.  For the young, the old, and the young of heart.

What I loved about Bar Solo?  Free entry all night!  The place is a bit small, but it is well-located and wedged between a few other tiny Camden jems, ranging from Brazilian to Spanish to Asian (food and decor/vibe).  Solo holds up the more jazzy-minded side of the group.

The locale aims to be a super club, a banging pit of elegance and techno and member's only snobbery and decadence.  Somewhere in that blend, you come up with a fun club with different environments to cater to different moods and a constant flow of good hip-moving music.

The kemia bar here (one of the different rooms) is filled with rustic charm and African flare, with motley painted bar stools to boot.  The Moroccan vibe is great and the vibe is low-key yet jumping and fun.  No pretensions here.  They also host a nice array of cultural events.

The music here was the best part, at least it was the defining and differentiating characteristic.   I don't go out to Hackney much, but Pier One was my reward, by giving me something that stood out in comparison to my other London evenings.  Lots of charm here.

This place has a rep as an all-purpose locale.  The face of Hoxton that interested me, however, was that of clubbing and live music Hackney hotspot.  Did it live up to the reputation?  Not the best club in London, but it sure has a lot of panache and a quality array of acts of all musical tastes.

This multifarious bar/club right next to Highbury and Islington station is best characterized by its refreshing ability to cater to all tastes, remaking itself each evening with the electro hashings of hip DJs to the indulgent strummings of bleeding-heart acoustic acts and the skinny jeaned indie kids.

Acoustic Sundays here are seriously cool, but if your thing is hip-shaking, Brick House brings in the DJs at 11pm and lets them spin away the evening. DJ nights are coreographed by the famous Jimi Mistry and the club promises to be a finale to any night in Brick Lane adventure.

This is one of my favorite East End locales.  It's very hip and imbued with artistic flare.  Lots of comfy sofas and a full 2k soundsystem to get your teeth rattling. Above Vibe Bar is Vibe Live, which has a plethora of musical events and looks out on bustling brick lane.  Drinks here are definitely the cocktails; they mix some good ones.

Another nice light amidst the veritable smorgasborg of  Soho, even London, clubs.  It's not really TOO much of anything.  Not the coolest or biggest, or loudest or best music.  But that's what's nice about it.  I dig the vibe as well:  The edgy kind of chic we might associate with Manhattan streets at night.

The club has a bit of a sleazy-decadence, attributed in part to the juxtaposition of this underground little dance club in bright lights Soho.  And Scram! brings you all the right music, from electro-pop to rock-hop to dirty house and any kind of fusion you could conjure.  Give it a whirl.

I think it would have been spectacular to see a live band or DJ here, as it's such an intimate little cave of a club.  The location can't be beat if you're looking for a colorful party night.  Again, this is a small place, reached by heading down some stairs, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in personality.

The bar at the fridge, which has a 300 capacity, underwent a 150k gutting and refurbishing, and looks like a sparkly new coin, though a white coin, as everything is sleekly white.  Very Cool custom-built semi-circle DJ booth and nice sounds that rival the inner club section for crispness.
