I don't have the exact address on this one, but it's right by the giant St. Mary Magdalene's church.  Brand new La Muse is one of the warmest, yet elegant spots to come around to this part of town in years.  With that sweet French bistrot ambiance little tables, candles, like something out of a Marseille street scene, yet modern and adventurous with their cuisine and takes on French classics.  Highly recommend this place.

This is a chain, and it's a bit pricey, but I kind of love it despite it all.  A nice croissant with a double espresso--c'est magnifique.  But really, these locals are cute and consistent and a great neutral yet thoughtful locale for say a first date.

You know, this isn't the most exciting part of town, and that's why I love it, especially now in the summer when everyone has their cafe tables out and the whole of Golders Green seems perched at the cafes and restaurants contemplating the day.  Great old buildings, Jewish culture, slower pace.  Come sit in the sun as if you were in Spain or France.

Ok, I like Starbucks. I do.  I worked at Starbucks.  Iced lates are great.  But if you're going to hang around the center of London--London, the capital of multi-faceted and -faced culture, London of the International crown of inter-mingling--do you really need Starbucks?  That said, sometimes it's nice to have a drink you know.  i can dig it.

Often heralded as some of the best breakfast bites in Kennsington, the Muffin Man tea house is a great stop for the flavors and ambiance.  Serving traditional British fare (full English breakfast all day) and global favorites like quiche.  And of course those things mentioned in the name.

This is a great place for those, like me, on a student budget, or anyone just keen on great price to value pay off.  The Italian wrap is especially fulfilling and delicious.  Plus the ambiance is full of charge and hustle and friendliness.  Not a relaxed joint, but you have to make the choice.
