if youbh ave ever seen live from abbey road you will know how special these studios really are. every time a band plays here they gain a new sound, a something special and it re enrgises music and artists alike. just go to play around on the zebra crossing though

Dan liked Sir John Soane's Museum

This place opens Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 5pm and can get really busy so it's best to get there early. Admission is free and there are some fantastic pieces to view. The house is pretty much left how Sir John Soane had it before he died, giving the museum the feel of a treasure hunt with its informal displays. Keep an eye out for the room with foldable walls of paintings.

I love the dome, the structure has to impress you and inside its so huge they still haven't filled it up with tonnes of empty space. I saw Beyoncé here, hands down the best gig I've ever been to and probably will ever see in my lifetime. If you sit up in the nosebleeds I hope you have a head for heights cos it is vertigo inducing stuff and extremely steep!

Dan loved London Walks

I went on the Jack the Ripper tour, you can sort of take a similar tour in the Lonodn Dungeon which is also great with all the actors and everything but in my mind, being in the actual places is much more haunting. London Dungeon is more atmospheric for the kids but the will enjoy this too with the enthusiasm of the guide.

ok I did enjoy the rides here but come on, the ticket prices are absolutely insane, ludicrous even. to take the kids it was £24, it's nice but all the waxworks blend in to eachother after you've seen the ones you came for, its not a fully fledged theme park but it is priced like one. try and get a deal if your planning on going here

Dan loved The National Gallery

I was just strolling though trafalgar square jumping on the lions as you do and didn't even know what this place was. I expected to pay but it was free, the building is lovely and the art was inspiring and there are comfy seats in which to sit and admire it. I stumbled across a guided tour which was very interesting, highly recommended.

I would have loved it but suffered from extreme bouts of vertigo at some points during my 'flight'. It really is quite high, may I suggest taking a seat in the centre of the pod and a deep breath, all will be fine. Staff are professional, this is no creaky fair ground ride and the view was superb.

Dan loved Tate Modern

Truly stunning pieces. I didn't even pay to get in to any of the exhibitions and I had a blast. Loved the giant container, pitch black and enlightening at the same time. I was also there for most of the day, there are plenty of places nearby to keep your arty appetite strong. Absolutely loved it!!!
