Eclectic menu & excellent service. Great location with comfy seating on the first floor, overlooking the river. Dishes we ordered were cooked with care and were sumptuously portioned (as opposed to some served in other branches!) The risottos are specially recommended. The pizzas of course are all good.
The open kitchen and interesting decor enhances the ambience. The illustrations that occupy the various walls throughout the restaurant has been inspired by the surrounding area - a hub of urban and skateboard culture that involves spirit, music and fashion. Look out for loads of other interesting details including skateboard decks, modern art and vespa scooters.
It is still about the food though! Compliments to the chef(s) who produced delicious dishes. We could taste how fresh the ingredients were - they were cooked carefully and flavoured just right.
And a special word for the quick + efficient service too - despite it being a busy evening, our waitress was very pleasant and attentive.
The new Zizzi @Bankside is highly recommended!
