Despite the exorbitant prices, this is something you should do at least once. And what better time than the summer, when you won't feel tortured being suspended in the London atmosphere? Great views of a great sprawling city scape.

I would have loved it but suffered from extreme bouts of vertigo at some points during my 'flight'. It really is quite high, may I suggest taking a seat in the centre of the pod and a deep breath, all will be fine. Staff are professional, this is no creaky fair ground ride and the view was superb.
