The Museum is free to all visitors and is open daily
10.00–17.30. Some exhibitions are paid ticket only.
Easy to get to by bus, tube or car.
The British Museum has always welcomed all 'studious and curious persons'. Another way of saying everyone is welcome which is obviously what the 6 million yearly visitors think. The architecture alone is enough of a marvel to warrant a trip, should you venture inside a wealth of history and art awaits you.

This place is awe inspiring, I don't pretend to know a lot about art and all these exhibitions but have you seen the roof? the picture doesn't do it justice, the building from any entrance or angle is very impressive. I am reliably informed that there are some things of interest inside these rooms but I was constantly looking up so might have missed it
