Koko is a jewel to Camden's crown. Any genre, any style, any dress code goes. Take in a glass of wine on the roof terrace before heading in on most nights to a sold out music event. An education in cool and a very loud experience.

Maybe this is a biased rating, but I WANTED to love Koko, as I'd heard so much about it prior to moving to London. They have some really good gigs here, stuff I'd never get to see in the smaller town (which I won't name) where I used to live. Lots of live music, so if your fix is dancing, maybe you'll want a different spot.

I saw 65 days of static here, recommend ear plugs cos this place turns it up to 11. the beer was expensive but the ticket price reasonable. Go in the daytime, check out Camden Market, head here in the evening
