If you need a night out or just a drink, you can try the Southwark Playhouse near London Bridge. The bar is open for pre-show, interval and post-show drinks, so you can come watch a show, or just show up after and rub elbows. Very cool for the histrionic at heart.

i think this theatre could be moving very soon to a new location, like a super centre venue with all the cafe's and other entertainment which is a shame cos i love it but i dont think its in the original place either. great plays though, really different to mainstream stuff and musicals
